Weekly Program

We also hold regular in person catch ups where you will be welcomed by your peers in a safe, friendly, accepting and non judgemental space where you can create connections and share experiences of your health journey, learn tips to manage your condition, or just find a shoulder to lean on.

Thanks to funding from the James Frizelle Charitable Foundation, our support group established a Self Management Program for people living with Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS.

The program offers a range of weekly activities designed to support your physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing and social connection. Living with a chronic condition can be isolating, and our members often tell us that spending time with people who understand what they’re going through is one of the most valuable parts of the program.

Our President, Wendy, works hard to create a varied calendar of activities throughout the year.

Sessions may include:

  • Gentle movement and exercise
  • Meditation and breathing
  • Somatic therapy
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Nia movement classes
  • Creative activities such as painting and Christmas crafting
  • Social lunches and outings

There’s something for everyone, and you’re welcome to attend the activities that suit your interests and energy levels. There is never any pressure to come every week.

Annual membership is just $20, giving you access to our weekly program and the opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges of living with Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS.

Our program changes throughout the year as we introduce new facilitators, activities and special events. We don’t publish the full calendar on our website, so members should check our private Facebook group for the latest schedule and any updates.
